Project Summary

A new floor needed to be laid over an existing floor that was uneven and messy. I laid down a new subfloor, and proceeded to lay down the peel and stick tiles, cutting to fit around the toiled and water piping. No trim was needed – it just needed to work. In the end I spent some time to cut everything out nicely anyways, I like my jobs to look good!

Project Challenges

The tricky part was dealing with a floor that wasn’t level and walls that weren’t straight. A lot of tiles needed to be cut on an angle to fit with the walls, or to fit around obstructions, like the water line coming out of the floor. The end result was great though, especially since it (mostly) matched with the walls.
