Project Summary

The Meridian Credit Union in Kincardine had a very small janitor’s room, and they needed some more room for things. They asked for a quote, and after a visit I came up with this: adjustable track shelving so they can use it for boxes or bottles or whatever they want. The branch manager asked for this design, and I made it happen. Where I cut the shelving I applied white veneer to make it look nice, and took the time to make sure the shelves are completely level, and where the two shelves meet, they are level to each other. It turned out very well and looks great.

Project Challenges

Something I hate are walls that aren’t square or even! Normally I would make measurements from the floor or ceiling to keep things square, but I couldn’t do that here. I had to make sure each rail was square to the others all across. It took a little while, but I got it done right.
