Project Summary

A realtor called me on Canada day, saying one of his properties meant for rebuilding had no locks on the back door, according to the landscaper. I went to go check it out, and someone had broken in and torn them out. He obviously wanted some locks put on! I got a new lock and deadbolt for him, and installed them. The door needed some repair due to it being forced, and I had to do some chiseling to get it all to fit. Finally I installed a lock box on the back deck so people could come and check the property out.

Project Challenges

It was tricky to repair the door – the metal on the door was torn, and required some further trimming and filing to get them to fit. It also wasn’t my most favourite job as the house was abandoned and honestly, a tad creepy. But someone needed some help, and that’s what I’m here for.
