Gutter cleaning is very important! If your gutters aren’t clean, and water is spilling down, it can erode the foundation, cause water to get into the basement, and many other problems. When the system is clear and rain or snowmelt is properly draining, it means a healthier house and fewer repairs. An once of prevention is better than a pound of cure!
If there is a ton of debris in the gutters, I manually remove the majority of it. After the gutters are mostly clear, I then use a (long) hose to get them spotless with some high pressure water. If anything needs a small repair, I get it done while I’m up there.
