For most jobs I charge a flat fee. Let me know the job, and I can let you know the price.
Note, prices given over the phone/without pictures are estimates, as when I get there, more work may be required.
I trained as an HVAC service technician and installer for 8 years. I’ve also worked in several other trades for a number of years, getting experience in a lot of jobs. I have lots of experience in electrical, woodworking, plumbing, sheet metal, natural gas and propane appliances, drywall, and more.
I also went to university for Philosophy – this has helped me to think through things logically, allowing me to pretty quickly understand how things work.
All that said, I DO NOT do work that I’m not able to do well or do safely. I’m not going to risk my life or your property. I’d rather lose work than do a bad job.
Yes, all my work is guaranteed. If something goes wrong, I’ll come back and fix it for free.
We serve Kincardine, Port Elgin, Ripley, Tiverton, Lucknow, and Goderich, roughly a 30 minute radius. For locations outside of 30 minutes, I charge for travel time.
You know the saying about a jack of all trades master of none, but this is the full quote: “a jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.”
If you’ve got a big honey-do list, the chances are you might need several trades to come in and get the work done, which is a very expensive prospect, if you can get large companies to come at all. However, I have lots of experience doing lots of things – and I know what I can do and what I can’t.
Think of a handyman as a one-stop shop. Just call me, and I can get it done for you.
Handymen can have a reputation for poor quality work – but I stand by all my jobs, and I’m not happy until you are.
Yes, Kincardine Handyman is fully insured.
If something does go wrong, you will be completely covered. This is for both residential and commercial clients.
Yes, we offer free estimates. Please keep in mind that an estimate is an estimate – it is not an exact figure. It is a number based on the usual price of a job, plus an estimate of material costs.
Kincardine Handyman is open Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, and 8am – 12pm on Saturday, closed on all holidays. We are able to work after regular hours if that is required for your schedule, which we try to work around as best as possible.
We can also do emergency work if necessary, although there will be a additional charges. This lock job was done on Canada day.
Kincardine Handyman does primarily small projects and jobs. We DO NOT do large renovation projects. We do not do full bathrooms, building sheds, putting up fencing, or anything like that. We currently do not offer tree-trimming or tiling or snow removal.
